Professional Involvement Guide

The Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network (SEALNet) has been founded, advised, and mentored by supportive professionals. Besides the twin pillars of service and leadership, professional mentorship is another quintessential aspect of SEALNet.

SEALNet strives to engage professionals in all our operations in the U.S. and Southeast Asia, from pre-trip planning to on-the-ground trip activities. The mentorship provided by our professionals is a key area much appreciated by the students of our organization. Your support of SEALNet will significantly help our members grow as leaders and empower us to create sustainable impact on Southeast Asian communities.

There are four different levels of engagement, depending on the professional’s availability and commitment. The levels are: Sponsor, Advisor, Mentor, and Full Mentor. The table below outlines a suggested level of involvement for each of the engagement levels. This is not meant to be used as a mandatory or all-inclusive list of activities; rather, it should be considered a guide in helping professionals understand in what areas their efforts are needed.
