PV08 High School Student Application

Hi! Welcome to the application for high school students to the PV08 project. Please fill out the form below: questions with a red star are compulsory.

Eligibility criteria for Project Vietnam 2008
  • Available from 1st July to 12th July 2008
  • Available to do one year of service with PV partners after the two-week project
  • Living in Ho Chi Minh City, Vietnam
  • Love working with street/disadvantaged children

Preference will be given to 10th graders (students who have just completed Year 10) as these people will need to work with our partners after SEALNet team leaves. Hence, we feel that 10th graders will be most able to assure this criterion. However, we strongly encourage other applications since we always consider your application on a case-by-case basis and if you are good enough, we are not going to miss you!

What will high school students gain from this project?
  • Being mentored on service, leadership and personal development by SEALNet members who are university students from Cambodia, Malaysia, Singapore, U.K., U.S, Japan and Vietnam.
  • Widening your circle of friends all around the world
  • Being inspired and motivated to step up to serve your community
  • Having fun!
Under SEALNet's guidance, what are the students' responsibilities during the project?
  • Participating in leadership workshops organized by SEALNet
  • Mentoring, connecting with students in 15 May School
  • Organizing games and other discussions to mentor the 15 May students effectively

Sounds too much? Don't be afraid, SEALNet will be there to guide you through the whole project!
