Board of Directors

SEALNet, a registered 501(c)(3) organization in the United States, is overseen and directed by a partially elected Board of Directors, who provide oversight of the entire organization. The board is composed of a mix of students and recent alumni who are advised by the Board of Trustees and other past SEALNet Board members.

Pak Hin Lee 
Student, Stanford University 

Pak Hin is a Junior at Stanford University majoring in Mathematics. He was born and grew up in Hong Kong before coming to the US for college. He joined Project Thailand 2009 as a member and co-led Project Vietnam (Hanoi) 2010. He really enjoys the experience of serving the Southeast Asian community with other passionate people and empowering local youths to become service leaders, which keeps him inspired and involved in SEALNet.

duong_huynh

Duong Huynh  
Student, Massachusetts Institute of Technology 

Duong is a junior at MIT majoring in Architecture. Architecture studio is a huge part of her life, and she often unknowingly brings up her studio-related activities in everyday conversations. Growing up in Vietnam until the age of ten, Duong enjoys talks about family, culture, and especially food. Becoming a member of the SEALNet family in the Spring of 2009, Duong has helped out with planning for Project Malaysia 2009 and led Project Vietnam 2010 (Saigon).

Việt Minh Huỳnh 
Graduate Student, Harvard Business School
Fundraising Director 

Viet is a student co-founder of SEALNet at Stanford and he has found many of his best friends through the network. Viet co-led two initial trips to Vietnam (2005) and Thailand (2006), and has enjoyed advising other trips. Viet graduated from Stanford University in 2007 with a B.A. in Economics and M.S. in Management Science & Engineering, and is attending Harvard Business School. Viet hopes to continue supporting the SEALNet community to further share our vision of service leadership across Southeast Asia.

daniel_greer

Daniel Clayton Greer 
Junior Environmental Scientist, Walt Disney Imagineering R&D
Finance Director

Daniel is currently working at Walt Disney Imagineering R&D evaluating and implementing the integration of environmental metrics into decision making. In 2010, Daniel graduated from Stanford University in International Relations with a minor in Environmental Engineering. He is a fifth generation Colorado native and grew up in a rural area of Colorado. During his first project in Cambodia in 2006, Daniel was excited to experience a different culture and make close, lasting bonds with the students. Initially attracted to SEALNet due to his grandfather's Navy service in Vietnam, Cambodia, Laos, Thailand, and elsewhere, SEALNet has become an important part of his life. Daniel helped lead Project Vietnam 2007, participated in Project Malaysia 2008, and provided on-the-ground mentorship for Project Vietnam (Saigon) 2010. During a one year leave of absence from Stanford, he spent five months living in Ho Chi Minh City before moving to Singapore for six months. Daniel enjoys running, talking, reading, and politics.

Wesley Koo 
Co-Founder, MIT SEALNet Chapter
Alumni Director

Wesley Koo graduated from MIT with double degrees in Environmental Engineering and Management Science. After participating in SEALNet's Project Cambodia in Phnom Penh, Wesley co-founded SEALNet's MIT chapter in 2007 and led the first Project Malaysia in 2008. He also founded the China Development Initiative’s Service Leadership Program. His professional background includes working at non-profit One Earth Designs, Optiver Trading, and China's real estate giant Vanke. In his spare time, Wesley seizes every opportunity to travel and understand different cultures.
