Kwee Bin Teo Co-Founder, thingbuzz.com

Kwee Bin (K.B.) Teo, a Singaporean, is the co-founder of thingbuzz, a social media technology company that provides tools to display social media on websites and increase page views.

She was previously the founder of MBz, a startup that closed in early 2010. Prior to MBz, she was V.P. of Strategy of a KKR-portfolio company, a team manager with the San Francisco office of Boston Consulting Group and an investment banker with premier Mergers & Acquisitions firm, Lazard & Co. based in London, UK. K.B. was also employee #8 and Business Development Manager of a technology company sold to IBM in 2008. K.B. conceived and designed SEALNet’s Service Leadership Program. She has gone for several projects in Vietnam, Cambodia and Indonesia. She holds honor degrees from Nanyang T. University and the Harvard Business School.

Kevin Teo Advisor, Asian Venture Philanthropy Network

Kevin Teo is Managing Director of Asian Venture Philanthropy Network’s Knowledge Centre. Prior to that, he was a Founding Partner of Volans, a Social Innovation company with offices in London and Singapore. Kevin was previously Head of East and Southeast Asia at the Schwab Foundation of Social Entrepreneurship and Global Leadership Fellow at the World Economic Forum. Prior to that, Kevin had a nine year stint in the enterprise software arena in Silicon Valley, Irvine and Austin. This included work at two Sequoia Capital startups that were acquired by Sun Microsystems and Symantec respectively.

Kevin is a Trustee of the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network (SEALNet), a US and Singapore-based non-profit he co-founded in 2004. To address issues around employment opportunities and rights of foreign domestic workers in Singapore, Kevin co-founded Anisya in 2010 with Grace, his wife.

Kevin graduated from Carnegie Mellon University with an MS in Information Networking, and holds a BEng with Honors in Computing from Imperial College, London.

Leng Lim Managing Director, Pivotal Leadership

Leng Leroy Lim holds degrees from Princeton (BA), Harvard Divinity School (MDiv) Harvard Business School (MBA) where he delivered Harvard University’s 350th Commencement Graduate Oration. An avid mountaineer who has led expeditions in Alaska, Leng was an interfaith chaplain at the University of California Irvine, and later a management consultant at Marakon Associates. Combining his different expertise in diverse fields, Leng is an Executive Coach who works with senior management on leadership development, and has consulted to clients in the US and Asia, including PricewaterhouseCoopers, The National University of Singapore and The California Wellness Foundation. He resides in New York and Singapore.

Ngo Thuy Ngoc Tu  Co-Founder & VP of Business Strategy and Education, Yola Institute

Tu graduated from Stanford University with a degree in Public Policy and a concentration in Education. As the first Vietnamese student from a local public school admitted to Stanford with full scholarship, she co-founded Yola Institute with a mission of helping young minds achieve their educational dreams. She leads the business and creative directions of Yola’s educational programs, spanning from test preparation, college counseling, to language training. Tu led the first SEALNet Project in Cambodia, served as SEALNet Co-President in 2007-2008, and SEALNet Board Member from 2008 to 2010. Her prior work experiences include IDG Ventures Vietnam, Value Partners Management Consulting, and the Southeast Asian Service Leadership Network.
